In 2020, the Basic Sanitation Company of the State of São Paulo (Sabesp) bet on the future of its company by incorporating Elliot Water into its management. Sabesp is responsible for 30% of the basic sanitation investments made in Brazil. Its network, in the metropolitan area of São Paulo, has 6.3 million water connections, 34 water treatment plants, 387 reservoirs storing 2.3 trillion litres of water and a 40,300 km long distribution network.
