Mockup-m2-1

Technology as a lever in the water optimisation

Technological progress and the advent of digitalisation in the management of the full water cycle provide a substantive impetus for achieving the sanitation targets set in the Sustainable Development Goals on access to adequate sanitation and hygiene.

This second monograph, also focusing on the theme of water and with the aim of commemorating World Water Day, which is celebrated on 22 March, aims to publicise technological solutions that contribute to solving the challenges of water management.

second monograph

Who is it aimed at?

Our second monograph is aimed at anyone interested in accelerating the digital transformation of the integral water cycle to achieve a more efficient management of this resource, as well as agents involved in the water sector and representatives and technicians from public administrations.

Aim of the monograph

The digital transformation of integrated water cycle management is a necessary step towards the optimisation and sustainable management of water resources worldwide.

Therefore, we want to show, through the different voices that collaborate in this publication, how a strategic and responsible investment in technology allows for more efficient management and more informed decision making at all levels of the water cycle, as well as of the agents along the chain, from the individual user to the water supply manager.

The faces of the water

This publication features professionals linked to sustainable development initiatives and projects to digitise water management that will help us prepare for the challenges of the present and the future.
